Modern Colours & Finishes

Recycling existing panelling

To avoid the disturbance of re-panelling an unfashionable room it is sensible to recycle existing panelling by creating a modern finish.

Modern finishes can be used anywhere. An existing drab scheme can be stripped, re-stained and polished to give an exciting modern look in the home or business premises.

We always work with our clients to achieve the right finish. Previous projects have included:

  • Three teak panelled rooms which were stained and polished dark blue creating an appearance like marbled teak with an iridescent effect.
  • Executive room given a grey finish.
  • Blue “mackerel skin” finish given to rippled sycamore panels.

Furniture

Re-colouring of furniture can also give it a new and exciting appearance. Previous projects have included:

  • Creating “sun-bleached” effects.
  • Staining tamo wood grey.
  • Ebonising.
  • Changing veneers.

The choice of finishes is endless! We are happy to interpret out client’s ideas to achieve their vision.
